For Service companies
Adour International helps companies with industrial partnering in countries where local content legislation applies. Our niche expertise is Nigerian local content and due diligence work in the energy industry.
The Nigerian content legislation was enacted in 2010 and is today closely monitored by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This legislation stipulates the need for industrial partnerships between foreign and indigenous Nigerian companies. As a service company, compliance with the local content legislation is fundamental.
With the right industrial partners and supplier base, your proposals would be evaluated more favourably than competing offers which have little or no local content. Today, companies that do not integrate sufficient levels of local content in their proposals are excluded from the bid process.
Our value to your organisation, a service company, would be to help you identify suitable industrial partners and integrate the necessary Nigerian content in your products and services. We would also help you quantify and qualify the overall Nigerian content value of your proposals so that in turn your clients can consolidate it across their supplier base and demonstrate compliance with the NCDMB.
Through joint ventures and alliances, companies are able to meet both technical specifications and Nigerian content requirements for tenders. The challenge, however, is most often in finding the right partners able to reliably deliver value to the partnership. We perform the required analysis and in-depth financial, operational and commercial due diligence on companies which enables them to then select with confidence their most suitable industrial partners. The due diligence services page under OUR SERVICES provides additional information on how we perform that analytical work.
Adour International supports customers from offices in Biarritz (France), Lagos (Nigeria) and Nairobi (Kenya).
