Nigeria Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (NOG 2014)

NOG 2014 brought together all the key stakeholders from the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry and was attended by thousands of senior level delegates from around the world. A focused seminar on Nigerian content addressed key issues and detailed significant opportunities for both indigenous and foreign manufacturing and service companies.

Our attendance at NOG was focused on enabling industrial partnerships between foreign and indigenous companies in Nigeria. Adour International serves a variety of clients within the energy industry including E&P operators, equipment manufacturers, service companies, EPCs and financiers. The Nigerian Content Act legislation was enacted in April 2010. The legislation is currently enforced and monitored by the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board (NCDMB). It requires foreign companies who bid for work in the oil and gas industry to involve indigenous Nigerian companies and incorporate Nigerian content in their product and service proposals. Foreign companies who do not do so are most often excluded from the bid process. Furthermore, companies who incorporate the highest level of Nigerian content for comparable technical and commercial offers are most often those who are selected.

The 2014 edition attracted high levels of attendance:

7,500+ exhibition attendees
