Global Local Content Summit (GLCS 2014)
Global Local Content Summit is the annual gathering of senior local content decision makers from across the globe. Organized by IQPC, it is definitely of value if you conduct or plan to conduct business in countries where local content legislation applies.
The event brought together passionate speakers, senior level delegates and numerous government officials. One full day was dedicated to local content in Africa and was well represented by many Nigerian companies, government officials and other key stakeholders from the Nigerian oil & gas industry. Ernest Nwapa, executive secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), was also in attendance and provided delegates with a comprehensive update on Nigerian content issues.
Our attendance at GLCS 2014 was focused on enabling industrial partnerships with indigenous companies in Africa in response to local content legislation.
We perform the required analysis and in-depth financial, operational and commercial due diligence on foreign and local companies. This enables clients to select the right companies to partner with, meet local content requirements and optimise project time, quality and cost objectives. Our niche expertise is Nigerian local content and due diligence work in the energy industry.
